The People Behind the Work Are the Reason People Hire You
Customers don’t invite a company into their home — they invite your people. MCZ Productions films employee spotlight videos for Chicagoland businesses that put faces to the crew before the first knock on the door. Meet the team, before the team shows up.
Employee Spotlight Videos That Build Trust and Attract Better Hires
An employee spotlight video — also called a team spotlight or meet-the-team video — is a short profile of one person on your team: who they are, what they do, and why they do it. It’s the difference between a customer opening the door to a stranger and opening it to someone they feel like they’ve already met. Filmed in a single session, a series of spotlight videos gives every key person on your crew a face, a name, and a story.
Employee spotlight videos pull double duty. For customers, they answer the unspoken question — “who exactly is showing up to my house?” — which matters most in businesses where your team works on someone’s property. For hiring, they show prospective employees what it’s actually like to work for you, which is why meet-the-team videos consistently outperform job postings at attracting serious applicants. For Chicagoland businesses competing for both customers and good help, one set of videos works both sides of the problem.

Our Video Production Process
From the first creative call to the final delivered cut, every project follows a proven workflow that keeps the work on-brief, on-time, and on-budget.
Creative Discovery
We open with a creative call to understand the goal of the piece — who the audience is, what action you want them to take, and what story actually gets them there. Strategy first, cameras second.
Pre-Production Planning
Treatment, shot list, locations, talent, props, and schedule all locked before shoot day. You approve the creative direction and budget so there are no surprises on set.
On-Site Production
Our crew arrives with cinema cameras, professional lighting, lavalier and shotgun audio, and gimbals or sliders when the story needs movement. Most shoots wrap inside a single day on location.
Post-Production Editing
We cut, color grade, sound mix, and add motion graphics — all coordinated through MCZ, one point of contact from raw footage to final delivery. You receive a first draft within seven to fourteen days with two rounds of revisions included on every deliverable.
Final Delivery & Distribution
Finished assets are delivered through a private cloud folder in 4K plus social-ready aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9). We also provide captions, thumbnails, and short cut-downs for paid ads and email campaigns.
